Unlike its Swiss counterpart, which will continue to be hosted by the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, the Michelin France will be moving to a different city for its next ceremony. After Cognac in 2022, Strasbourg in 2023 and Tours in 2024, Metz will host the Michelin Guide 2025 for its prestigious ceremony. The official announcement was made on October 15 at a press conference at the Château de Malbrouck, in the presence of Franck Leroy, President of the Grand Est Region, Patrick Weiten, President of the Moselle Department, and François Grosdidier, Mayor of Metz. However, the information had already leaked to the press a week before, fuelling the impatience of industry professionals. This gastronomic mecca will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Metz on March 31, 2025, where the chefs and restaurants joining France’s culinary elite will be announced, and will be sponsored by Moselle chef Michel Roth.
