Although her time in Lausanne will come to an end at the end of the year, Anne-Sophie Pic continues to expand her presence in France and around the world. In Paris, the chef will open a new restaurant and her first cocktail bar in September in the heart of the Fondation Cartier.

The end of her partnership with the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, scheduled for December 31, will mark the conclusion of an important chapter. But Anne-Sophie Pic is not slowing down just yet. The chef continues to take on new projects both in France and around the world, with Paris as her next stop. Following La Dame de Pic, which opened in 2012 on Rue du Louvre, she will open Anne-Sophie Pic Paris on September 18 at the Cartier Foundationfor Contemporary Art.

First Date

Located across from the Louvre, in the new setting designed by Jean Nouvel, this restaurant aims to create a dialogue between fine dining and contemporary art. Anne-Sophie Pic will showcase her cuisine based on her philosophy of “Imprégnation”—a fusion of infusions, aromatic resonances, and sometimes unexpected pairings. The interior design was entrusted to the Moinard Bétaille firm. But the first event is set for September 4, with the opening of Utopic, her first bar entirely dedicated to cocktails, accessible via a separate entrance on Rue de Marengo. In collaboration with Paz Levinson, the Pic Group’s executive sommelier, the chef will continue her exploration of beverage pairings and mixology there.

Two openings in two weeks, all with the same goal: to continue expanding Anne-Sophie Pic’s world at the intersection of art, cuisine, and glass. While a new chapter is about to begin in Lausanne, elsewhere, the story continues to unfold.
