From November 19 to December 24, Noël au Quai returns to the shores of Lake Geneva. On the agenda: the classic fondues, new gourmet spots, and a few surprises—including evenings where you can enjoy raclette while singing.

In Geneva, the first frosts also herald the return of fondue pots and mulled wine. From November 19 to December 24, Noël au Quai will return to the shores of Lake Geneva for 36 days of festivities. This year, there are a few new additions that should make you want to extend your visit beyond the traditional glass of wine shared with friends.

Fondue Chalet

On the culinary front, Le Chalet à Fondue remains true to its AOC “half-and-half” fondue, but is expanding its menu with a few options better suited for lunch: GRTA pulled pork burgers, beef meatballs, and Le Chalet macaroni. New vendors will be popping up in the alleys, including Side Chick with its crispy chicken, La Basquerie with its cheesecakes, and Ochaiya with its spicy specialties. And let’s not forget the artisanal panettones from Café du MEG.

For those who like to pair cheese with a little music, the Christmas Pub will now be hosting its “Karaoklettes” on Tuesdays: raclette, a microphone, and—hopefully—a few in-tune voices. Wednesdays will be dedicated to acoustic concerts, while DJs will be back on duty on Fridays and Saturdays.

And because Christmas is about more than just what’s on your plate, this year’s event will also feature a synthetic ice rink, a small Ferris wheel, and a new panoramic terrace overlooking the Jet d’Eau. It’s the perfect way to get a bird’s-eye view before heading back to warm up around a fondue pot.
