To mark Céline Dion’s return to the stage in Paris, Pierre Hermé is dedicating a limited-edition collection of macarons to her. It’s a fusion of music and pastry, emotion and memories… and, of course, a particularly sharp sense of marketing.

To mark Céline Dion’s return to the Paris stage, the Maison Pierre Hermé is unveiling “Infiniment Céline,” a limited-edition collection of macarons. The singer personally selected eight existing creations—including Ispahan, Infiniment Caramel, Infiniment Framboise, and Infiniment Praliné Pistache—based on her tastes, memories, and the emotions they evoked in her.

On paper, this pairing seems almost inevitable. On one hand, a voice capable of moving entire auditoriums. On the other, a pastry chef who has long elevated the macaron to the status of an object of desire. Between the two, a great deal of sensitivity, a few memories, and a business venture carried out with a precision that, too, is anything but improvised.

Because behind the charming interplay between music and pastries lies a well-oiled machine: familiar creations, the name of an international star, unique packaging, and the exclusivity of a limited edition. It’s all about the experience, of course, but the sets are available in boxes of four or eight pieces. The four-piece sets will be available starting September 3 at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, before going on sale in Pierre Hermé boutiques starting September 11.
