After creating a successful pop-up, Side Chick is moving up a gear. Lucas Jeanneret and Adrian Smith's fried chicken concept is now taking root in Eaux-Vives, with an opening expected before summer.

My dear epicureans, things are hopping again at Les Eaux-Vives. Lucas Jeanneret and Adrian Smith, already well known for having set the Geneva and recent Zurich scene alight with Pretty Pattyare back in Geneva with their fried chicken concept. Their new playground is called Side Chick and will take up residence on rue des Eaux-Vives, in place of the former Wang Chinese restaurant. A change of scenery, but above all a change of style: crispy, generous fried chicken, resolutely inspired by the American South. Set course for Nashville, Tennessee. Where chicken isn’t just fried – it’s practically elevated to religious status.

Here, we’re talking about crunchy breadcrumbs, tender flesh and sauces that oscillate between sweetness and masterful spices. An opulent delicacy that begs to be savored. Of course, in Geneva, you’ll have to be patient. Work, authorizations… the usual pace. But the founders’ objective is clear: an opening before summer. And if their intuition for successful concepts is anything to go by, it could well be that Side Chick will soon become the new rendezvous for lovers of crunchy food.
