After several lives, Sesflo has finally found a new lease of life. The Florissant address has now been taken over by the 21 and Moon teams, with the ambition of extending the history of this Mediterranean Geneva brasserie.

And we say FINALLY! The Sesfloa well-known restaurant in Geneva’s Florissant district, reopens its doors under the impetus of the team already in place at the 21 Club restaurant and Moon bar in the Eaux-Vives district. At the helm is Eliott Maniatis, trained at the Glion Hotel School. After stints at La Réserve Genève Hotel & Spa and the Baroque group, followed by professional stays in London, New York, Berlin and Paris, he returned to Geneva during the Covid period. Two years later, he embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure with the 21 Clubthen with Moon two years later.

Taking over a place steeped in history is no small feat. Many former regulars – whether from the M3 or Frutiger era – were looking forward to the reopening with curiosity… and a touch of nostalgia. The good news is that the soul of the place is still there. The dining room remains unchanged, the terrace still well laid out, and the first services have already seen the return of many familiar faces from the neighborhood. In the kitchen, Nicolas Josserand manages the brigade, while Cyril Azevedo, the group’s executive chef and already at the helm of Le 21, oversees everything. The menu remains Mediterranean, in keeping with the address’s historic identity.
