Martigny Expo hosts the second edition of The plus grande raclette of the world. More than a record, it's a living celebration of Raclette du Valais AOP, of the right gesture and of a terroir that never compromises.

On April 18, the halls of Martigny Expo will once again vibrate to the rhythm of ovens and singing raclettes. After a first edition that brought together 4893 guests (a notarized record), the event devised by MyExpo is back with the same ambition: to put raclette, the real thing, back at the center of the village. No gadgetry here. It’s all about scraping the wheel, with respect for the product and the gesture. Raclette du Valais AOP will be in the spotlight, with cheeses selected especially for the occasion, notably from Grand Entremont and the Dents du Midi region. Valais potatoes, condiments, local wines – the terroir invites itself onto the plate with coherence and pride. Tickets go on sale on March 5, 2026 at 9:44 a.m. on QoQa. Last year, it all went off in an hour and twenty minutes. From 5 p.m. onwards, with a giant raclette, a DJ and a festive after-party lasting until 3 a.m., the evening promises to be both intergenerational and intensely convivial. Behind the scenes, some 350 racletteurs and volunteers will bring the event to life from the inside, with a rare collective energy. More than just a number, more than just a record: an asserted identity, a shared heritage, and the simple pleasure of a well-scraped millstone.
