Miami welcomes Massimo Bottura’s cuisine
Miami welcomes a new phase in the history of Torno Subito, the restaurant of Italian chef Massimo Bottura, best known for his work at the iconic Osteria Francescana in Modena. After a closure in 2025 that left some fans wondering about its future, Torno Subito officially reopened its doors in December 2025 in a new setting: The Moore, in the heart of the Miami Design District.
This iconic venue, a blend of private club, boutique hotel and cultural space, provides the restaurant with a stage worthy of its reputation. The spectacular Elastika contemporary art installation, designed by Zaha Hadid, and the creative energy of the neighborhood, now form the backdrop to this restaurant, which is as much a meeting place, a place of creation and community, as it is a gastronomic address.
The new version of Torno Subito has already been dubbed “Torno Subito 2.0”. While some iconic dishes from the original restaurant have been retained – such as pappa al pomodoro or the rich, delicate tortellini al tartufo bianco – the menu has been enriched with new creations celebrating local produce, including a revisited version of Florida crab with crispy polenta, and fish dishes with daring cooking and combinations.
