Mathieu Croze in residence at Alter
Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 7, the distillery Alter distillery welcomes a special guest. Chef Mathieu Croze, of Michelin-starred restaurant Le Chat Botté – currently closed until 2027 – takes over the kitchens for two exclusive dinners. A rare privilege, to be enjoyed by a small group. Now at the helm of Rivage Café, another Beau-Rivage Beau-Rivage Geneva, Mathieu Croze offers precise, uncluttered French cuisine deeply rooted in Switzerland. On his plates: fish from Lake Geneva, meat from local breeds, vegetables from the canton of Geneva, fruit from the Valais. A classic base, enhanced by subtle Asian touches – Japanese miso, Thai coconut milk, Vietnamese coriander – that pigment the whole without ever distracting from it. Each evening, only sixteen guests will have the chance to discover a five-course menu, accompanied by beverage pairings devised by the LVX Spirits team. An experience conceived as a suspended moment, where haute cuisine is experienced up close, almost in a whisper. All information and reservations can be found on the Instagram account Alter or by email at [email protected].
