Mare e Monti, Cosmic, and Jacques Set the Table

The best initiatives are often the simplest ones. Bringing neighbors together, setting a large table, and sharing a meal in the heart of a neighborhood just waiting to come alive. That’s exactly the idea behind Mare e Monti, Cosmic and Jacques, who will soon be hosting a “dîner en blanc” right in the middle of the Grand-Rue, against the incomparable backdrop of Geneva’s Old Town. About sixty food lovers will take their seats around a single table set up in the middle of the Grand-Rue. The evening will begin on Wednesday, July 1, at 5:30 p.m. with an aperitif, followed by dinner at 8:00 p.m. For the occasion, Lucas Larrieu, chef at Mare e Monti, has created a menu developed in close collaboration with the three establishments. The menu will feature, among other dishes: raw and cooked salmon with carrots and harissa, leeks in a black garlic and feta vinaigrette, followed by a Barbarie duckling served with panis and a cocktail sauce. The dessert course will feature chocolate as the star of the show. A generous and delightful initiative.
