With the arrival of winemaker Jean-Yves Bizot at the Inda-Bar restaurant, Geneva is set to experience a wine moment as intimate as it is exceptional.

For lovers of fine wines, Geneva is about to experience one of those moments that you mentally tick off your diary well in advance. For the second time, theInda-Bar welcomes Jean-Yves Bizot on February 10 to preview his eagerly-awaited Charlemagne Grand Cru 2022 from Domaine Bizot. Under the guidance of Morad El Hajjaji and Jewel Rholam, the team at the rue Henri-Blanvalet restaurant have devised an exceptional menu, built as a veritable journey around the Charlemagne myth. Great names follow one another at the table – from Pierre Vincent Girardin to Charles Lachaux, from Kei Shiogai to Roulot, not forgetting Coche-Dury or Domaine de la Romanée-Conti – in a game of precise pairings, designed to dialogue with each plate. And because the Inda-Bar cannot conceive of this type of evening without a fitting finale, the tasting is extended to a form of apotheosis. A final service crowns the whole, with Jean-Yves Bizot’s Charlemagne 2022, accompanied by a truffled Brillat-Savarin, like a gourmet and emotional climax. A rare evening, conceived as a moment of sharing and transmission, where wine is not simply tasted, but fully experienced.
