In Geneva, Izumi celebrates the return of spring with the reopening of its panoramic terrace and an exquisite Hanami menu by chef Toshikazu Kato.

From April 1st, Izumi reopens its terrace atop the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva. With the first rays of sunshine, the place regains its full panoramic and suspended dimension, as if weightless above our beautiful city of Calvin. At the helm, chef Toshikazu Kato continues his work with precise Nikkei cuisine. The Hanami menu (April1 to 30) is the finest expression of this: delicate raw preparations, nigiri with sakura, play on textures, controlled tension between yuzu, shiso and truffle, tasty and comforting kamameshi. Sake infused with sakura and Japanese whiskies prolong the experience. What’s more, a Business Lunch keeps up the gourmet pace with a renewed proposal, where a Wagyu Bao Burger reminds us that precision is synonymous with pleasure. From May 1st onwards, Izumi offers continuous service with “Kampai moments” on the terrace, providing a haven from morning to night as summer slowly approaches… DJ support from mid-May. Finally, on May 21, a “Dassai” dinner will seal this budding season with a summit meeting of sake and Nikkei cuisine.
