Behind the historic walls of Maison Cailler in Broc, an ambitious project is taking shape: the creation of a park dedicated to the world of chocolate.

The future chocolate park Caillernow open to inquiry, marks a decisive turning point for this emblematic site. Conceived as a complete immersion in the world of cocoa, the project goes far beyond a simple visit: it aims to transform the current Maison Cailler into a veritable destination. On the agenda: an itinerary lasting several hours between historic buildings and spectacular new structures, a tropical greenhouse dedicated to cocoa, scenographic spaces and a direct access to production. All in an approach that combines emotion and education. But the ambition doesn’t stop there. With an estimated investment of 400 million francs, the project also includes hotels, restaurants and infrastructures designed to extend the experience and stay in Gruyère. The aim is to attract more than a million visitors a year and reposition Broc as one of Switzerland’s leading tourist destinations. It now remains to be seen how this large-scale project will strike the right balance between international appeal and local roots.
