Fifteen Stars in Bad Ragaz
We’ve only just discovered Switzerland’s fifth three-star restaurant, and Sven Wassmer has already found a way to bring all five together. On January 31, the chef of Memories will host Peter Knogl of the Cheval Blanc in Basel, and Franck Giovannini, from the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville in Crissier, and Andreas Caminada from Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau. Joining them are twin brothers Dominik Sato and Fabio Toffolon, whose restaurant The Japanese at The Chedi Andermatt has just earned its third star.
5 houses, 6 chefs
Five restaurants, six chefs, and fifteen Michelin stars—all in a single dinner. Tickets will go on sale online at the end of November. Needless to say, seats are sure to sell out fast!
I announced in September that Sven Wassmer would be leaving Memories at the end of February. There’s something beautiful about seeing him, as he turns the page, invite the chefs from the country’s four other three-star restaurants to his table. It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful way to leave one last great memory at Memories.
