On November 27, the Inda Bar will host the winemaker from Vosne-Romanée for his first masterclass in Switzerland. This rare event, organized by Morad El-Hajjaji, Jewel Rholam, and Mathieu Vins, will focus on the 2022 vintage from the Arnoux-Lachaux estate and is limited to just twenty-four guests.

Wood gives way to sandstone, and the tasting sparks conversation. On November 27, Charles Lachaux will be the guest of honor at theInda Bar, hosted by its founder, Morad El-Hajjaji, its maître d’, Jewel Rholam, and the winery Mathieu Vins, for an exceptional evening dedicated to the wines of the Arnoux-Lachaux estate. Billed as his first masterclass in Switzerland, this event will bring together twenty-four handpicked guests.

2022 Vintage

The highlight of the evening: the 2022 vintage. In Vosne-Romanée, the family-owned estate has decided, starting with this harvest, to replace all of its oak barrels with stoneware containers. This marks a profound change in the aging process of its Pinot Noirs, which Charles Lachaux will explain, using bottles as examples.

Earlier vintages, notably 2018 and 2019—which were aged in oak—will help put this evolution into perspective. This will be an opportunity not only to taste several of the estate’s wines but also to discuss the choices, research, and convictions behind them. This invitation builds on the connections forged during visits to Burgundy. It will remain true to that spirit: an intimate gathering featuring wine, dinner, and conversations that may continue late into the night.
