Casa Lulia invites you to discover Chianti… otherwise
When Nicolas Herbin speaks, we listen. And when the founder ofOrigine 1980 speaks of “coup de coeur”, we know that he’s not just pretending. At Vinitaly 2025, he was struck, surprised even. By Chianti with a finesse, fragrance and juice he’d never imagined possible at this level. Behind this emotion is a winemaker: Susanna Grassi, from the I Fabbri estate. So, of course, the desire to share was obvious. Thursday March 26th, Casa Lulia in Nyon welcomes her for a Wine & Dine that’s already shaping up to be something special. Because the wines come from the very top – among the highest terroirs in Chianti Classico – and the work is of a rare precision: old Sangiovese vines with fine seedlings, biodynamic viticulture, absent or discreet wood, never new. And above all, winemaking with a delicate, almost sensitive touch. Opposite, chef Rosario Abramo responds with a generous, chiseled Italian score: crostinos, fregatini, lardo di Colonnata, crisp spring vegetable salad, and homemade pasta with wild boar ragout. Places are limited. And this kind of moment can’t really be told, it has to be experienced, my dear epicureans.
