Ananda, Culinary Tours on Lake Geneva

Set sail aboard theAnanda and let the waves carry you away. For the past few years, Alexandre Baechler and Johanna Peyrot have been offering excursions on Lake Geneva aboard their sailboat. Both graduates of hotel management schools—he from Lausanne and she from Geneva—they have developed a premium experience that combines fine dining and wine tasting. Brunch, aperitifs, catering services, or dinner prepared by Geneva chefs: the offerings are tailored to the client’s preferences. Since launching their concept of dining on the lake, Ciro Ascione, Benjamin Luzy and Romain Pellet were among those who presented their menus on board.

This is a real challenge for these chefs, who have to work within a limited space. “We work with chefs we know and appreciate. We always offer products that we’ve personally tried before,” Johanna tells us. When it comes to wine, Alexandre curates a rich and carefully selected list that pairs perfectly with the dishes served. A gourmet escape that’s as much about the experience as it is about the flavors: guests raise a toast over appetizers, take a dip in the lake, and then return to enjoy exceptional service. With its enchanting setting and refined flavors, all the ingredients come together to create an extraordinary experience.
