A Sunday in London… the Coin Coin version
Close your eyes for a moment. A London pub on a Sunday. The cheerful sound of conversation, a few screens showing Match of the Day, and pint after pint without really counting. It’s in this imaginary world – slightly polished, subtly reinterpreted – that Coin Coin decided to venture into. On Sunday April 26, the Geneva-based restaurant will be offering “Corner Corner”, a gastro-pub-style lunch where the Sunday roast becomes a pretext for gathering. At the heart of the plate are the basics: a fine piece of meat, a plump Yorkshire pudding and potatoes to tie it all together. Surrounding it, a selection of wines and a few cocktails to accompany a moment that promises to be as generous as it is relaxed. A Sunday interlude that smells of London, without leaving rue des Bains.
