A gentle start with saithe ceviche in the stunning setting of La Sixième Heure.

This week we push open the door of an atypical restaurant: La Sixième Heure, on Boulevard des Philosophes. A place where you can not only eat, but also buy all the furniture and objects on display: lamps of all kinds, paintings, tables, sofas, chairs, absolutely everything! We are warmly welcomed by an attentive head waitress. Intrigued, we order the saithe ceviche with combava and discover a dish that’s all sweetness and light, thanks to coconut milk and avocado. For some palates, an extra twist of lemon might have added a little something, but this appetizer heralds a fine continuation of the menu influenced by the cuisines of the world. From Asia to Latin America, there’s something for everyone. For us, the choice fell on pork secreto with miso, before finishing with a red fruit cheesecake. Indissociable from the cuisine, the ambiance of the moment depends on its setting, like a kind of time travel in the space of this brocante-restaurant. A pleasant discovery to make with friends or family, to enjoy the cuisine of chef Uros Krajcinovic.
