Marion Ollivier

We’ve spoken at length about the duo at Matière: Freddy Garanjoud behind the stove and Lionel Schneider at center stage, juggling bottles. But the latter’s wife brings charm and elegance to the dining room at 12 rue Micheli-du-Crest. Originally from Brittany, Marion was quickly attracted to the world of catering. After graduating from high school, she naturally turned to the Ecole Ferandi in Paris. With her diploma in hand, she helped open the Shangri-La in 2010, before heading up the dining room at Adeline Grattard’s famous Yam’tcha restaurant. After a spell at La Réserve in Paris, Marion left the capital, alongside her husband, to join Jean Sulpice at the Auberge du Père Bise. She is now settling in Geneva to write a new chapter in her successful career…
