Marion Le Pen at Bleu Nuit
Marion Le Pen is a committed sommelier. Her desire to travel the world took her to Australia and New Zealand, two countries that would influence her conception of the profession. She got up close to winemakers and observed their work, while continuing to work in prestigious establishments. The local wines were not yet very well known, and she had the pleasure of discovering them on the spot. But then COVID forced her to return to France. Something clicked, and her interest in working in the vineyards grew and became obvious to her.
She then moved to Burgundy and began her apprenticeship with the Trapet family, taking up her specialized studies in viticulture this time to learn about the work of the vine. At this point, her vision, previously focused on the prestige of wine and the great names of the estate, evolved towards the valorization of the winemaker’s work.
Now working at Bleu NuitMarion Le Pen’s aim is to increase customer interest in the business by sharing her discoveries and knowledge, and by responding to individual requests. You can ask her for the classic menu, which will delight the most demanding palates, but also for the OFF menu for those who want to get off the beaten track and discover the nuggets of natural wines.
