Francis Bernier at Café Zinette

Originally from Montreal, Francis Bernier started out in the restaurant business to pay for his studies, and never left. He quickly developed a passion for this world of sharing, and continued his adventure in Manchester, where he perfected his language skills. Once back in French-speaking lands, he pushed open the doors of a cooperative in Burgundy and honed his oenological skills. On his return to Switzerland, he retained this sensitivity to the world of wine and shared it with customers at Café Zinette for 7 years. When Le Bombar opened, he was in charge of the bar and dining room for several years. Today, he’s back to his roots, and we’re delighted to welcome him back to the magnificent setting of Café Zinette, which he loves so much. Francis Bernier continues to amaze us, sharing his passion for service with the sole aim of making every meal a success.
