Élodie Cherpin, the passionate

If you frequent the Halle de Rive, you’re bound to be familiar with her face. Alongside her husband Mathieu Lagache, Élodie Cherpin is the owner of the Bistrot des Halles. A native of Lyon, she grew up in a family of epicureans. At a very young age, she fell in love with the restaurant business out of passion, rather than, at the time, obligation. With a degree in management and business in hand, she quickly returned to her initial passion and helped open a hotel in Haute-Savoie with a gourmet restaurant, brasserie and bar. It was at this point that she fell under the spell of her future husband. The duo became partners both personally and professionally, and it is with phlegm and passion that they manage the Cotton Pub and the Bistrot des Halles.
