Bombar disconnection
From time to time, I’ll take up my best pen to tell you about a scene in the restaurant, a light, an atmosphere, music, a voice… To describe a feeling at a precise moment, by looking, by observing but always with kindness (without necessarily complacency). It’s easier to listen to your sensations when you’re alone, when you’re waiting for someone to join you, guided by a culinary hedonism – in a word, a friend, an epicurean eater, a follower of food pleasure. So we take the time to concentrate on what’s essential, to look at the environment that carries us and lifts us up. And above all, without being connected! We’re all in the same row… even if a counter separates us.
Capturing this moment is within everyone’s grasp – it’s just a matter of taking the trouble to seize it. Le Bombar is the ideal place to observe efficiency and contemplate beauty. The lights are subdued, the music is appropriate, the candles are ideally placed, the bouquet of flowers in autumnal colors sits enthroned on the bar where reservations are taped, the bottles are happily uncorked, the room reaches a gentle boil and the kitchen is busy in unison. Admiring this spectacle is a gift that life gives us, and one that can only fill us with joy. Life is a gift, and Bombar is the gift of a fleeting moment.
