Magnums, jeroboams, and a Methuselah will be on the menu on October 14. Wine District is celebrating its 10th anniversary at Gallo with a menu specially designed for the occasion.

Ten years—that calls for a celebration. And at Wine District, we’ve decided to mark the occasion with magnums, jeroboams, and even a Methuselah. On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Wine District will take over Gallo, on Boulevard du Pont-d’Arve in Geneva, for a winemaker’s dinner conceived as a grand anniversary celebration. In the kitchen, Chef Jacopo Romagnoli will present a five-course menu, paired with bottles selected especially for the occasion and served in sizes that naturally invite sharing.

Wellington and Côte-Rôtie

After a selection of appetizers paired with Chavost and Maxime Ullens champagnes, the pan-seared scallops in their shells will be paired with two premier crus from Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault by Laurent Pillot and Pierre Girardin. The dinner will continue with a quail Wellington stuffed with foie gras, paired with a 2017 Saumur-Champigny from Château Yvonne and a 2015 “Viallière” Côte-Rôtie from Jean-Michel Gerin.

An aged Gruyère, matured for thirty months, and the traditional birthday cake will round out the evening with Domaine Obrecht’s 2016 “Monolith,” served in a Methuselah bottle. A decade of wines, gatherings, and shared bottles celebrated, as it should be, around a large table.
