Wine District and Pierre Girardin at La Réserve

After a recent evening at the F. P. Journe restaurant, marked by the graceful wines of Marie-Thérèse Chappaz, the duo from Wine Districtduo, Morgane Covino-Bellido and Charles Villa, continue their journey into the land of emotion. This time, they head for La Réserve Genève, where the two artisans of wine encounters invite the young prodigy Pierre Girardin, winemaker in Meursault, for a dinner-tasting at the Le Lotion Thursday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. Around a menu conceived as an autumnal journey – cream of pumpkin, hazelnuts, parmesan, then soft-boiled egg and wild mushroom fricassee in yellow wine, before pan-fried veal with polenta and preserved lemon juice – the glasses will unfurl the domaine’s Burgundian score: Meursault Narvaux 2022, Meursault Charmes premier Cru 2020, Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 2021, and Vosne-Romanée Les Beaumonts 2022.
