The duo of chef Sven Wassmer and Amanda Wassmer-Bulgin have added a new dimension to their culinary universe with the creation of the Wassmer Family Group.

Duo Sven Wassmer and Amanda Wassmer-Bulgin unveil the Wassmer Family Groupa structure that brings together their two restaurants – Sven Wassmer Memories (3 Michelin stars and Étoile Verte) and verve by sven (1 Michelin star) – with a common approach: putting empathy, sustainability and care back at the heart of hospitality. Conceived as a model of transparent, caring leadership, the group aims to create environments where creativity is born of trust, and where excellence becomes synonymous with human connection. “Hospitality isn’t just about perfection, it’s about relationships,” stresses Sven Wassmer. The Wassmer Family Group also focuses on knowledge sharing: master classes, events, pop-ups and consulting activities to support the new generation of professionals. Amanda Wassmer-Bulgin is also launching an online course dedicated to beverages and hospitality (2026), to enhance the operational skills of front-of-house teams. The group has introduced the import of British spirits, including the now signature Sven Wassmer Negroni cocktail, and is formalizing a collaboration with Autism Schweiz to promote greater inclusivity and pay particular attention to neurodiverse realities. With this new entity, the couple are asserting a clear ambition: to shape Alpine hospitality that is fairer, more sustainable and resolutely human.
