With its 220-meter length, 54 suites and immense rigid sails, the Orient Express Corinthian aims to redefine luxury sea travel. A floating palace imagined by Accor.

L’Orient Express is no longer just a dream on the rails. With the Corinthian, the legendary luxury travel company, now owned by the Accor Group, is preparing to take to the seas with what is billed as the world’s largest sailing ship. Christened in Saint-Nazaire at the end of April, this 220-metre giant, built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, will welcome its first passengers this year in the Mediterranean, before heading for the Caribbean. On board, just 54 suites for 110 passengers, in a deliberately ultra-luxurious design where each cabin boasts a panoramic sea view. Conceived as a floating palace, the Orient Express Corinthian will feature several restaurants, a Guerlain spa, a speakeasy bar and a table orchestrated by chef Yannick Alléno. It’s a way for the brand to extend its historic imagination into a contemporary version of exceptional travel.
