Oetker Has Big Plans for the Riviera
Oetker loves the Riviera! In Cap d’Antibes, the German group that owns theHôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc has acquired a neighboring estate for more than 155 million euros, according to Challenges. In Saint-Tropez, its hotel collection is preparing to open the Mas Bellevue in June 2027. Two different ventures, but the same fascination with the south of France.
Antibes and Saint-Tropez
The first involves nine hectares belonging to the heirs of Greek shipowner John Latsis. This property includes five houses—including the Château des Enfants and the Casa Estella—as well as access to Billionaires’ Bay. This is a major acquisition, though its future use remains to be determined: no plans for an expansion of the luxury hotel or a renovation of the estate have been officially announced.
In Saint-Tropez, the lines are sharper. Rebuilt on the site of the former hotel, between the village and the beaches of Pampelonne, the Mas Bellevue will take the form of a hamlet of eleven Provençal houses. Triptyque is handling the architecture, and Gilles & Boissier are designing the interiors. The property will feature 78 rooms and suites, each with a private terrace or patio, as well as an infinity pool, a wellness area, a restaurant, and a bar—all offering views of the landscape and the sea.
From the property in Cap d’Antibes to a new location in Saint-Tropez: Oetker is making himself at home on the Riviera. Now we just have to find out what’s cooking in the kitchens at Mas Bellevue. You can count on me to tell you a little more about it soon…
