The same tables, the same menus, and soon the same dining experiences—from Paris to Saint Barth. With its new location at the Cheval Blanc, Langosteria continues its expansion into the world’s most exclusive destinations.

On October 22, Langosteria will open its doors at Cheval Blanc Saint-Barth, on Flamands Beach. Following the Paris location in 2021, this will mark the second partnership between the two establishments and the Italian brand’s first location outside of Europe.

Clear Agreement

Founded in Milan in 2007 by Enrico Buonocore, Langosteria will bring to Saint Barth what has made it a success: seafood, crudi, pasta, and robata-grilled dishes. The menu will feature, among other items, bluefin tuna carpaccio, tiepido di mare, black grouper Chateaubriand, and paccheri with sea bass. The interior design will be handled by the Festen studio.

On paper, the partnership seems like a no-brainer: Italian cuisine, a luxury hotel overlooking the sea, and one of the world’s most coveted destinations. Yet this opening says something about our times. By constantly welcoming the same sought-after brands, places that pride themselves on exclusivity sometimes end up looking alike. We’re traveling farther and farther just to find the same names and the same styles as in Paris, London, or Milan. Langosteria will certainly feel right at home in Saint Barth. The question remains: did Saint Barth really need to look a little more like the rest of the world?
