Cherry opens in Paris
Hold on to your hats… after Courchevel, Megève, Ramatuelle, Saint-Tropez and soon Saint-Barth, the Indie Groupe will soon be opening a Cherry in Paris. A new Italian-inspired landmark ideally located at the end of the Saint-Tropez harbour (in place of the restaurant Leï Mouscardïns – some will know the reference), Cherry in its Parisian version boasts a certain New York soul. Imagined by interior designer Sarita Posada, the new venue is a clever blend of Brooklyn’s hushed jazz bars and the ambiance of a discreetly refined Parisian bistro. In the kitchen, chef Oscar Aviles Santana (formerly of Zuma Dubai) offers a menu that blends revisited Italian classics with a touch of American comfort food. Cocktails are also on the menu, as are Dirty Martini, Negroni and Old Fashioned. To be discovered on rue du Sabot.
