Burgundy invites itself to Arakel. Julien Samson, from Wine Digger, has signed an operation as generous as it is rare, where great wines are tasted... at caviste prices.

In Geneva, Julien Samson and the whole team at WineDigger team have decided to celebrate Burgundy at its most noble, generous and vibrant. From November 17 to December 19, these cheerful enthusiasts will be showcasing some thirty cellar treasures in the Michelin-starred restaurant Arakel. Burgundy-lovers rejoice: this selection, entitled La Bourgogne en Lumière (Burgundy in Light), of first and great growths, white and red, served at caviste prices, bottles and magnums combined, will soon be on offer. Domaines Bernard Bonin, De Montille, Gérard Mugneret, Georges Noellat and Michel Bouzereau are all part of the selection. Behind this first edition is a desire to pay homage to the winemakers and estates that make glasses vibrate, and to offer everyone the chance to enjoy themselves at the restaurant without restraint. It’s also a way of extending the year with a touch of generosity – the generosity of wine, sharing and fine dining. It’s a Christmas present before its time, and we can’t wait to taste it all.
