Benjamin Breton launches BANCO at Bistrot de Madeleine. A Sunday get-together where meats go over the coals, plates are shared and bottles are passed from table to table.

Le Bistrot de Madeleine intends to make its Sunday evenings a little more festive this summer. From June 7 to August 23, Benjamin Breton launches BANCO, a new weekly rendez-vous designed as a large table for friends. On the program: plates to share, pieces of meat grilled over an open fire, a few indulgent treats and open bottles to accompany the evening. The idea is not to reinvent Sunday dining, but rather to rediscover the simple pleasure of prolonging the weekend around a fine table. To mark the occasion, the Lucinges restaurant is also giving a nod to wine lovers: no service by the glass, but a 10% discount on the entire menu to encourage the opening of large bottles to share. It’s a formula that perfectly sums up the spirit of BANCO: simply drink, laugh and eat. From now on, Sunday evenings in Lucinges promise to end in joyous decadence.
