Anne-Sophie Pic: A New Chapter in Paris
Anne-Sophie Pic is setting up shop at 164 Rue de Rivoli, in the spaces of the Fondation Cartier for Contemporary Art. Together with her husband, David Sinapian, she has envisioned a restaurant that artists from all walks of life will come to inhabit, season after season. Their creations will take center stage as the meal unfolds.
Sound Artist
For this first season, poet and sound artist Anne-James Chaton will accompany certain moments of the dinner. On the plate, the chef continues her exploration of global flavors while drawing inspiration from modern and contemporary art. Her berlingots, for example, are adorned with black latticework that evokes the Louvre Pyramid, located just a short distance from this new venue.
The restaurant’s pace will change throughout the day. On weekdays, lunch will consist of three, four, or five courses, with menus updated monthly. In the evening, a seven-course menu will leave more room for the interplay between cuisine and creativity.
This opening comes a few months before the end of the collaboration betweenAnne-Sophie Pic at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, scheduled for December 31, 2026. A chapter will soon come to a close on the shores of Lake Geneva. Another is beginning to take shape in Paris, while Valence remains her home base.
