On October 16, L’Atelier Joël Robuchon in Geneva will welcome fifteen guests for a six-course menu created by Olivier Jean, paired with several vintages from Angelus.

The Woodward continues its series of wine-tasting dinners with a fifth installment dedicated to Angelus, one of Saint-Émilion’s iconic estates. Hosted in the private dining room of L’Atelier Robuchon, the evening will bring together just fifteen guests for a six-course tasting menu created by Executive Chef Olivier Jean.

Without giving away the entire menu, the meal will feature, among other things, duck foie gras wrapped in cheesecloth, accompanied by gourmet variations on Swiss quince, as well as porcini mushrooms, served in a thin, crispy tart with a velvety shallot sauce and roast gravy. The wine selection, meanwhile, will tell the story of the estate and the expertise of the de Boüard de Laforest family. Among the vintages served will be the Blanc du Milieu 2024, the Carillon d’Angelus 2014, and the Château Angelus 2014. The evening will be hosted by Anna Tkachenko-Marie, Angélus’s Director of European Exports, and Romain Lemaire of the Cave Royale. An intimate gathering bringing together Geneva’s haute cuisine and the great wines of Bordeaux.
