La Fregola sarda du Bombar

We should have been outside… but given the weather we sat inside. No matter, inside or out, happiness is the same at Le Bombar. Victor Freiburghaus and Alexandre Jeny, the indestructible tandem behind the stoves of the Place des Augustins restaurant, are once again delighting us with a summer menu, despite the slow start to the season. After having succumbed to a swordfish carpaccio with sauce vierge, followed by confit coleraves and mustard sabayon, it’s the Fregola sarda with peas and mascarpone that makes this wonderful gourmet moment even more intense.
