Kozan had been on my list for several weeks and I was looking forward to returning to this Japanese restaurant. Very discreet, chef Hiroshi Machida continues to share his knowledge of Japanese gastronomy with kindness and technical skill. Sitting at Kozan’s counter intensifies the experience and reinforces the happiness of the moment. The menu is impressive and guests are spoilt for choice when ordering. Whether you prefer green tea or sake, let yourself be tempted by sushi or an assortment of sashimi, nigiri, hosomaki, futomaki or urumaki, and succumb to the charms of this establishment on rue Jean-Jacques-de-Sellon.
