At a time when the wine world is reevaluating itself, Tony Lécuroux has chosen to focus on what he believes is essential: passing on knowledge. With Paroles de Vins, the Swiss Master Sommelier is launching an initiative that places education, guidance, and sharing at the heart of the wine experience.
It is this conviction that drives Tony Lécuroux today. Having grown up in the shadow of Hermitage and trained in Michelin-starred kitchens in England and Switzerland, the Master Sommelier and2nd Best Sommelier in Switzerland for 2025 has just launched Paroles de Vins, an organization based in French-speaking Switzerland dedicated to consulting, education, and wine-related experiences. Behind this project lies an ambition that goes far beyond simply recommending bottles. Tony Lécuroux works with restaurateurs to help them build their wine identity, as well as with wine enthusiasts eager to explore new horizons.
Through his Wine Chapters, he creates intimate wine tastings where each bottle becomes the starting point for a story, a conversation, or a discovery. Sharing knowledge also plays a central role in his approach. As an instructor for Wine Education Switzerland, he helps roll out the International Sommelier Guild’s program in Switzerland and co-founded the Hospitality Wine Academy, designed for hospitality professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge of wine. In a world where everything is moving ever faster, Tony Lécuroux ultimately champions a simple idea: wine is not just a product, but a culture, a memory, and sometimes even a language.
