At a ceremony held in Zurich on May 19, Switzerland's best wine lists were honored by the Star Wine List.

First prize was awarded to the Park Hotel Vitznaufollowed closely by the Wunderbrunnen restaurant in Opfikon. Zurich’s 169 West, Bürgenstock Resort Lake in Lucerne and Matière in Geneva, among others, also won awards. “Seeing Switzerland’s geographical and cultural diversity expressed in these outstanding wine programs is remarkable,” said Nina Jensen, a member of the Star Wine Listwho was joined by fellow sommeliers Bertrand Lutaud MS and Reeze Choi. “There’s a deep sense of quality everywhere, combined with a long-standing commitment to the sommelier’s craft and traditions, while retaining a curious approach. What’s more, it’s great to see the widespread support for outstanding Swiss wines!”. In the “Best Medium-Sized List” category, the Bombar and Gallo were awarded silver medals. In the “Best Long List” category Chez Bacchus and Inda-Bar were also awarded silver medals.
