Sandrine Pally and Yuttakan Pongkunsup, the duo behind Soï Thaï Canteen and Suahoy, open Satu, a new Thai restaurant in La Jonction.

It’s always a pleasure to talk about the latest news from the Soï Thaï Canteen and Suahoy. Instigators from the start, Sandrine Pally and Yuttakan Pongkunsup, an on-stage and off-stage couple, continue their entrepreneurial expansion. Having recently opened Suahoy Studio, the duo are now back in the heart of the Jonction eco-district with Satua new establishment that is yet another invitation to travel to Thailand. With the help of architects Roduit-Thuillierthe duo focused their creativity on the bar, the centerpiece of the premises. Guests will be invited to observe the whirlwind of in-house mixologist Thomas Vilatte, under the supervision of the irreplaceable director and partner in this new venue, Nicolas Fernandez. Rest assured, the culinary offering is not to be outdone, as Yuttakan has put together a short, gourmet menu inspired by dishes from Bangkok’s famous Yaowarat Chinatown. Expect plenty of surprises from October 5, the opening date of this new Asian jewel. Long live Satu… which means Amen in Thai.
