The Palace is reborn: Paris rediscovers its nights
We didn’t live through those years, when the night was overflowing and the party knew no bounds. The Palace was more than just a venue: it was a must-see, a vibrant theater. Closed for two years, this legendary venue will reopen its doors at the end of 2026 after a major renovation. Its new owner, Mickael Chetrit, wants to recapture the spirit of the Palace: concerts, stage, life. To relaunch this monument to the night, one name stands out: Jacques Garcia. This decorator, an expert in rich, theatrical ambiences, is completely rethinking the space. The Palace was once the must-visit nightclub for Parisian night owls, bringing the 70s and 80s to life with disco, tight crowds and endless nights. It’s an era to dream about, even if it seems so long ago. Today, the reopening is approaching, slowly but surely. Even without having lived through that period, we’re already looking forward to it.
