Francesco Mauri from Décanteur and the whole Matière team are organizing an anthology 4-hand lunch for a crazy Sunday.

Even Sundays are getting exciting in Geneva! To our great delight, Le Décanteur chef Francesco Mauri is opening his kitchen to Freddy Garanjoud of Restaurant Matière for a Sunday gourmet interlude. Director and wine expert Lionel Schneider will also be on hand to suggest wines to match a Franco-Transalpine menu devised by the two chefs. Why not try the Cacio e Pepe version of cabbage? Or French toast with sweetbreads, burrata and sea urchin, followed by gyoza with beef tongue, red shrimp and mushrooms. Impossible to resist taco-style pasta, octopus, scamorza, pico de gallo and dill before finishing with fish soup and agnolotti stuffed with sheep’s milk cheese. The festival kicks off at 1pm on Sunday, July 20.
