The 65th Foire du Valais

Regularly described as mythical or a veritable institution, the Fair is an annual ritual and a living culture spanning four generations. For its 65th anniversary, the Foire du Valais features characters, stories and images to help the public better understand the link between Valais traditions and modernity. The 2025 theme is “Legendary”. It celebrates what the Fair has always been: a tradition in motion, a place of passage and sharing, at the crossroads of many paths, shaping and reflecting the soul of the canton. And if it is so popular, well beyond the borders of the Valais, it’s because it embodies something universal: the need to come together, to participate in a collective memory founded on the diversity of the ingredients that make it up today. People come here to discover, buy, drink, get advice, taste, discuss and be surprised. And above all, to have fun together! So, let’s keep shaping history…
