Suahoy has been around for five years already. With its sophisticated cuisine, inviting dining room, and relaxed yet professional service, the venture launched by Sandrine Pally and Yutakan Pongkunsup has clearly found its audience.

Time sure flies. Suahoy is already celebrating its fifth anniversary, and honestly, it feels like it was just yesterday. Back then, who would have really bet on this location? It might have seemed like a bold move, but it ultimately turned out to be a brilliant idea. Over the years, the restaurant has found its rhythm, its identity, and, above all, its clientele. Admittedly, there’s been some turnover within the team. But who doesn’t experience that these days in the restaurant business?

Five years later, Suahoy is still going strong. A fifth anniversary is something to celebrate—and celebrate in style. So congratulations to Sandrine Pally and Yutakan Pongkunsup, who pulled off this new venture after Soi Thai Canteen and didn’t stop there. Shortly after opening, they took over the arcade next to Suahoy to create Suahoy Studio, a space dedicated primarily to Thai cooking classes. It’s a cozy culinary speakeasy whose centerpiece is a magnificent central island, extended by a large stainless-steel countertop, around which people cook, learn, and share. So, congratulations once again. Above all, we wish them the very best for the future.
