When art meets gastronomy, it’s the work of the association HighFlow association, which brilliantly brings these two worlds together. Taking place on April 10 at 7 p.m., this unique experience brings together art and food in a collaboration between artist Natacha de Oliveira and chef Marie Chemorin. Natacha de Oliveira holds a degree in aesthetic philosophy from the New School in New York. She is a member of the Domingo collective, which produces performative installations that question our relationship with food. Her practice focuses on narrative, exploring the forces that shape our emotions and the narratives we construct. Marie Chemorin has an extraordinary background: archaeologist, ethnologist, journalist, then chef. She doesn’t just cook, she fashions worlds that shake up certainties. Passionate about the history of food and its cultural dimension, she sees cooking as another way of being in the world. She creates tailor-made experiences, where each dish resonates like a tale. Working with food as if it were an ephemeral work of art, she notably explores gelation, capturing fascinating visual narratives in the material.
