After the passing of the M3 group, Le Vallon is writing a new culinary chapter with a young team in place. Renewal, yes, but all the while preserving the restaurant's traditions.

Genevans have always been fond of the restaurant Le Vallon located in the affluent Conches district, just a stone’s throw from the center of Geneva. Once owned by Philippe Chevrier and then taken over by the M3 group, this bourgeois house has recently been bought by new owners who are keen to breathe new life into this sleepy beauty. A number of subtle changes have already been made, including brightening up the interior decor and planting the outside gardens. A space dedicated to a vegetable garden and aromatic herbs is currently being considered. As for the dining room, Nathan Pijoulat will be in charge. Formerly head chef of the Gueuleton meat restaurant in Crans-Montana and Fresha in Plan-les-Ouates, he will welcome you in style. In the kitchen, chef Samir Choucha, a former chef who worked at Michel Roth’s Bayview and then at the Kiosque des Bastions, will rekindle the flame in the oven. Pâtés en croûte, eggs mayonnaise with bottarga, fine mushroom tarts… a bistro-style comeback. For old-time purists, parsleyed frogs’ legs and pike quenelle with lobster sauce are still on the menu. Can’t wait to taste them…
