Rare wines at Café des Banques
Wednesday, November 5 Café des Banques invites lovers of fine wines to an evening of Vins Rares imagined by chef Yoann Caloué in collaboration with Emmanuel Heydens and the whole team at Passeur de Vin. In a five-course menu, the chef’s subtle, masterful cuisine will be paired with a selection of legendary vintages. Among the star pairings, lucky diners will enjoy: Plin ravioli with porcini mushrooms, comté, vin jaune & cazett, sublimated by an exceptional Jura duo – Côtes du Jura “Chalasse Vieilles Vignes” 2015 from Domaine Ganevat and Arbois-Pupillin Chardonnay 2015 signed Pierre Overnoy; then Chevreuil, cynorrhodon, chanterelles and panais, accompanied by a deep red tandem: Saint-Joseph “Clos Florentin” 2016 from Domaine Jean-Louis Chave and Saumur-Champigny “Les Poyeux” 2014 from the legendary Clos Rougeard. It promises to be an exceptional evening.
