Pharrell Williams Brings the Street to Life on Rue de Rivoli
Pharrell Williams never seems to really want to choose between music, fashion, design, and lifestyle. The creative director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s collections is now expanding his horizons to include the Parisian hotel industry. Alongside Mohari Hospitality and Omnam Investment Group, the American artist is helping to revitalize the former Saint-James & Albany at 202 Rue de Rivoli. A historic location in the 1st arrondissement, across from the Tuileries Garden, just a few steps from the Louvre and Place Vendôme.
Closed since 2021, the property is set to undergo a major transformation. Behind its historic facades, some 14,000 m² will be redesigned to accommodate about 100 rooms and suites, private residences, as well as restaurants, bars, a spa, and a swimming pool. The name of the future hotel remains to be revealed, as do its interior design, dining options, and, above all, the unique touch that Pharrell Williams intends to bring to it. One thing is certain: on Rue de Rivoli, its reopening is highly anticipated.
