After Barcelona, Ibiza, Marbella, and San Sebastián, Nobu continues its Spanish adventure. The group will open its first Madrid location on September 1, 2026, in the heart of Calle Alcalá.

Madrid is set to welcome a heavyweight of the international culinary scene. On September1, Nobu will open his first restaurant in the Spanish capital, located within the new Nobu Hotel Madrid. The restaurant will feature Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature cuisine, blending Japanese and Peruvian influences, along with several of the brand’s iconic dishes and a dedicated cocktail menu.

Designed by Diego Gronda’s studio, the venue will span three levels, featuring a lounge, an open kitchen, a sushi bar, and more intimate spaces. A Nobu Rooftop will round out the experience, offering views of the Madrid skyline. This marks a new chapter in Spain for the empire founded by Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper, which has become one of the most recognizable brands in international gastronomy in just a few decades.
