Just three weeks ago, Marc Levanti became the new owner of the Auberge de Vandoeuvres. Against the backdrop of a Franco-Swiss brasserie, a new wind is blowing through the Geneva village.

Even in rural Geneva, there’s a “mercato” in the restaurant business. After several years at the helm of theAuberge de VandoeuvresJean-François Fert and Michèle Reichenbach pass the torch to Marc Levanti. A graduate of the École Hôtelière de Glion, this young entrepreneur is passionate about the restaurant business. After working at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong, the Intercontinental in Montreal and the Kempinsky Hotel in Malta, he took over the Tour Carré restaurant in Cologny and the Baboo Comptoir Corse in downtown Geneva in 2023. Keen to preserve traditions and maintain the Auberge’s gastronomic focus, he has chosen to offer classic brasserie dishes that have been slightly updated. For visiting gourmets, you’ll soon be able to enjoy sole meunière, as well as fine pieces of barbecued mature beef or tuna tataki.
